"It must have been a dream."
I thought to myself. I leaped out of my bed and got dressed. I put on my familiar attire, a t-shirt, jeans and white socks. I walked out of my room, and into the living room. As I sleepily stumbled out, I heard a loud noise. My mom was vacuuming, she always does on Saturdays.
"Trey, could you take that list and ride your bike to the store!?" My mom shouted over the vacuum while gesturing to a piece of paper and some money on our coffee table. I obediently took the list and the money off the table and jammed them into my pocket. I put my black shoes on and walked out of the house. I covered my hand over my eyes to let them adjust to the bright sunlight. Then, I realized how warm it was.
It was the third week of summer vacation, so it made sense that it was warm. I hopped on my bike and started to peddle to the store. The store wasn't that far from my house, maybe 8 minutes by bike. I began to recall more of the interesting dream I had the night before.
I finally reached the store. I parked my bike and pulled the paper out of my pocket. I picked up a basket and began to place all of the groceries listed on it. I payed for everything, put the few bags in the basket that was on my bike and began to peddle away.
On the way back I saw a girl with dark teal hair cross a street. We made eye contact for a brief moment
"She looks like the girl I saw in my dream... what a strange coincidence." I thought to myself. I looked away and just kept peddling on. Then, suddenly, the ground stopped moving, even though I was peddling. I started to feel like I was spinning. My bike glowed yellow, then there was a yellow flash.
